I was triggered by the pictures of the former monestry, the rooms aren't in that part of the hotel though...I'm just not a fan of walking through the rain to get my breakfast. Brakfast is served in the former chapel, which was nice, there was enough and it was all nice and fresh. The bar was lovely as well. I... More

We stayed here two nights when we needed quiet and rest and we were not disappointed except in the wellness center. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and mostly, very quiet. The restaurant is really good and we enjoyed two dinners here. Definitely not your typical hotel dining room. Breakfast was also quite good, although not really special. We... More

Nice room, as you can expect, nothing special. Breakfast is in an old chapel, in the main building, so take umbrella with you when it rains... No restaurants nearby, so have diner in the hotel or take the car.

Stayed for 5 nights while on a course in nearby Etten with work. The rooms have to be the biggest I have ever had, with newly refurbished bathrooms. One side of the room is all glass with a balcony the same length. The double bed was actually 2 singles put together which just doesn't work for me - its a... More

spent a Bongo weekend in this hotel. website looked very tempting, presence of a wellness strongly influenced the final choice. therefore bit disappointed to discover that (at least so they told us at reception, reality proved a little different) access was limited and strongly adviced to register one hour in advance, and be prepared not to stay too long. understandable... I stayed here on business for 1 night. The photographs looked lovely, however the accommodation was actually in a separate building a few minutes from the main reception and restaurant/bar area. The room was more than adequate, large, clean and comfortable. There was also a little rubber duck in the bathroom which instructed you in Dutch to take it on... More

I spent one night in this hotel as part of a business trip. Upon arrival at the reception, I was really charmed by the place... until I actually walked to my room, 3 mn from there, in a separate, charmless, very plain building. The room was spotless clean, spacious and quiet, the bed comfortable, and the wifi free and easy... More

When I arrived at the Golden Tulip my first thought was why they should have an hotel in the middle of nowhere (so highly priced, especially). The village is in fact a long road with few houses. Anyway, the hotel is nice. The rooms are actually 'apartments', very big in size but kind of old fashioned in the look. I... More

We stayed for 2 nights at Hotel de Reiskoffer. The reception was very friendly giving us tips and advice about a cycling tour, when we rented their well maintained bicycles. The hotel is situated between Breda and Roosendaal with easy access from the freeway about 5 minutes drive away. Breakfast in the old Monastery Chapel was a delicious start of... More

We stayed at the Golden Tulip which is about 8-10km outside Roosendaal, couldn't find a hotel with reasonable reviews in the town. We had Saturday late lunch early Dinner which was excellent, the breakfast was not to be missed, an excellent variety on offer and very good quality bread all served in what might have been a Church once The...
