1.When we wanted to put our food in the cooler we found stinky food that somebody before us left. 2. There is no coffee in the room. you can buy for 2Euro hot water and bring your own coffee (or tea) 3. You get only 1h free internet. 4. The bathroom is old and the water come slowly. It's almost... Stayed there three nights with 40+ people for business. The rooms on the ground floor are small and very hot during the day. I had a mobile airco unit in my room but sleeping with this machine during the night was almost impossible because of the loud noise it makes. Bathroom is sufficient but outdated for modern hotel standards. Breakfast... More

The hotel is charming and has comfortable accommodations; The staff is friendly and very attentive The food is of good quality and is quite varied. I particularly enjoyed their breakfasts. I stayed at the hotel as part of a business trip, and would happily enjoy visiting it again as part of a vacation.

I stay here when doing business in Amersfoort. The price is reasonable and the restaurant is the best in town. A five minute taxi ride from the train station. The quiet and peaceful central village of Hovenlaken is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. There is a small ice cream stand serving excellent gelato in town. Many walking trails... More

I have to travel to Amersfoort on business a lot and I have chosen to stay at De Klepperman in Hoevelaken rather than another hotel in Amersfoort itself, where I spend on average 3 nights a week. The hotel small hotel - 79 rooms - and is situated in a very quiet residential area. It is fitted to a good... More

Had to go to Hoevelaken for business and what a great start. The hotel very quiet with it being a Sunday night in November. The restaurant does not open on a Sunday but the Chef on room service duty did offer to cook something for us. Really friendly staff and the breakfast on Monday extremely good. Not a buffet as... The Hotel De Klepperman is very much a business-style stopover hotel, done to a good standard. The rooms have the usual corporate-style decor that you find everywhere, my room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The building is dorma-style with bedrooms in the roof, I was there during the summer and found the room very warm (there... More

Our room had a small seating area outside. The room was quiet and breakfast was tasty. There was a lot of free parking space. Staff was friendly. We had to pay for our internet use.

Hotel belonging to the Bilderberg Group, close to the charming town of Amersfoort, not far from Utrecht and national park of the Veluwe. Three former farmbuildings, typical for the region, were joined together to become one hotel. There are two restaurants but unfortunately the best one (3 forks in Michelin) had to close down last January for lack of customers.... More
