The hotel itself was very nice and well kept, situated in the Alps overlooking a picturesque landscape. The staff was attentive and willing to help with every need and the rooms were both spacious and clean. There was a sense of hospitality here that I haven't seen other places. We stayed one night at the Alpenroesli. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a balcony & it overlooked the lake in the distance. Breakfast was coffee (wonderful) and cereals with different types of breads. I only have one complaint- the cows. Don't laugh, but around 3.45 AM the herd of cows with bells is driven up to the...
