The hotel has a great location in parkland alongside Lake Constance, looking over to the German shore.
The hotel is in two parts; an older building on the lakeside with the restaurant and kitchens, and a modern building behind, with the reception and bedrooms.
Our room was modern, bright, clean and very atttractive, with views out the side of the hotel across the grass to the lake.
Our meals were set three course meals with no choice because of the rate we were on. The meals were all very good, so we weren't concerned at the lack of choice.
There is a large lakeside terrace, which was a very pleasant place to eat. The breakfasts were very good, the bread in particular being excellent.
We were delighted with the hotel, which we were booked into by our tour company for two nights as part of a cycling holiday round Lake Constance. We felt that we'd got very good value accommodation, because the hotel looked and felt like it should be quite expensive . more
