We stayed at Tresa Bay for 2 nights in mid June. We took the train from Zurich and (after changing trains in Lugano) got off right across the street from the hotel. I spent a week at Tresa Bay hotel back in April and it was very good. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Lugano lake and the Italian border. It’s quite far from Lugano but the train station is next to the hotel, and it takes only 15 mn by car. The food was OK, the indoor swimming pool... more

We love this hotel- have stayed twice before and are going back this summer. It’s a short train ride from the centre of Lugano and on the Italian border, so you can walk into Italy in a couple of minutes!
