I am not sure this was value for money, it had an expensive resteraunt which we did not use and the room was quite small but confortable and clean. We, like other reviewers were walking the camino and its location was great. The staff were helpfull but liimited in English. If you go to spain learn some spanish before you... more

I booked this hotel for one night, before starting the last 100km of the Camino. It is located right on the Camino, so there are no problems finding the hotel at the end of a day's walk. My friend and I spent two nights at the Alfonso IX while walking on the Camino. It is really a great option for a good nights sleep and hot shower for tired and aching bodies. The hotel is a close walk to the center of town, has a nice little bar, a good breakfast buffet, and the front desk staff... more
