Quite a pleasant hotel alongside the Camino. Close to excellent restaurants and town centre. Obviously not what it used to be, but excellent value (59 euros) for a clean, functional, large and quiet room. Staff very helpful and attached restaurant good food and friendly service. Recommended.

Stayed in this hotel for one night before starting on the camino. It is a decent hotel for a one night stay - I'm not sure about staying longer than this. The rooms were comfortable but quite old fashioned and the hotel in general is in need of an update. Had dinner in the restaurant as arrived late and the... More

1. Tried to sell dinner reservation on arrival. When we asked if there were no restaurants nearby as we were hungry and dinner not served until 8pm , the female receptionist told us there were none. We discovered there are at least 4 restaurants directly opposite the hotel along the river 50 m away- quite delicious and cheaper than the... More

I would concur with many of the reviewers. Our room clearly had smokers in it previously. The carpet was like an indoor/outdoor grade and grimy. The AC only spewed out hot air so you felt like you were in Viet Nam. The hotel was souless as another reviewer stated. Staff fairly snarky despite me speaking Spanish. Wouldn't stay there again.

This is a business hotel more than a place for pilgrims starting from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela. I enjoyed the bedroom facilities but ate out as neither the dinning room or cafe appealed to me. There are some lovely little restaurants in the old part of town over the bridge which have pilgrim menus at bargain prices. The room... More

This hotel was a serious disappointment. After a week on the Camino de Santiago staying in very modest accommodation I was thrilled to be at this hotel, in a modern well appointed room with a nice bathroom. However the staff were really unwelcoming. On check-in, the receptionist made an insistent pitch for a dinner booking although I wasn't ready to... More

Stopped here while walking the Camino de Santiago. Hotel is overall pretty soulless and really overpriced for what it delivers but it probably is the best option in this “strange” city. The room had a 60s feeling and was spacious enough. The beds were comfortable – no need for more. If noise is an issue, make sure you ask for... More

In general I must say that the people from the hotel were nice and the food was very good. The room was very clean an confortable. Unfortunately, from the room you could hear everything happening on the floor and it was too noisy to sleep. If you are a Peregrino, all you want is to rest peacefully in orther to... More

Not so much...after a hard day on the Camino, the people working here could have cared less if you stayed there or elsewhere. It's really a shame because the rooms were nice enough as was the bathroom. My wife and I walked down to their cafeteria for a light dinner and Cerveza. After 20 minutes of no service, we got... This Hotel is directly on Camino. We found the rooms very comfortable and clean, a little basic, but perfectly adequate. Great value for money. In a quiet location just out of town centre. Excellent choice in the town of Sarria.
