We stayed at Blaucel from 22nd to 29th July. We were there for 2 reasons.. a) to be close to my Spanish son in law's family when he and our daughter and grand children went for a summer visit and b) to enjoy the annual International fireworks competition taking place in Blanes that week. Our room was as requested high... More

I stayed in Blaucel with my 2yo son for 10 days in August 2013. All I wanted was a relaxing getaway from my busy city life, comfortable room, good food and proximity to the beach. This hotel ticked all the boxes for me, and I am an experienced traveller who normally stays in 5-star hotels in major world destinations. Hotel... More

The hotel we actually booked was the Blaumar, which is linked by a subway to the Blaucel on the other side of the street. We didn't know we were in the Blaucel instead until we checked in. Our room request when we booked was for "high room, sea view". We were given a room on the second floor with no... More

Our original choice hotel was n ot open so we were given the Blaucel as an alternative. We had stayed there 4/5 years ago.We were given a large room with a distant seaview. Which was well furnished with a nice bathroom. There was some enterttainment every night including a Magic Act with Parrots!. The rooms were well cleaned everyday with fresh... More

Well, this hotel is intended for families, we took all inclusive. Drinks are not inclusive so prepare to pay for every drink 2-4 Euros, depending on what you order. Or, drink in your room after every meal. Actually, one will be hard pressed to drink in his room since all rooms, although reasonably clean and ordered, are unbelievable small. As... More

The hotel is good, nothing special. I wouldn't call it four star hotel. The AC in our room never worked properly and the room was rather small. Our mistake was that we went there in August and it was so crowded. The restaurant was very crowded and very noisy, although we never had problems with not getting enough food. When... More

I stayed here with my wife and two kids (ages 9 and 13). We had a super time. The hotel is clean and modern and has all of the facilities you would likely want. The staff was very helpful and multilingual. The concierge I worked with spoke fluent English, Spanish and Russian. I also heard her speaking French (so I... More

The website photos make you feel like you are in for a 'resort style' treat that you can just relax and enjoy. Wrong, the place has potential to have this but during our visit in late May it was like we were more of an incovenience. I was suprised I got a '4 Star' hotel for such a good price... More

We came to Blanes for a week-long August breakaway from Moscow, Russia with my son, 13 y.o. The check-in went smoothly and the corner room on the 5th floor was spacious, with a great view and a big balcony with some plastic table/chairs. Actually there are two hotels interconnected by an underway passage, so patrons of Blaucel could go to... More

We had high expectations. This is a 4 star hotel. We were placed on the first floor, even when we had book a room high up in the hotel. If you live on the first floor its very, very noicy, and you cant go to bed early. The cleaning was not good. It was dirty under the beds and in... More
