Lovely hotel in a perfect setting. Walk out the hotel and you're on the beach with all day sunshine. We stayed here in october when the hotel was probly 2/3's full with mainly spainish and french guests. English / Irish only accounted for about 5% of the clientel. The welcome as you walk into the hotel is lovely with a... More

Booked as a last minute October break.Pleasantly surprised by standard of hotel.Ideal for families and anyone with mobility issues. It's on the sea front with only the coastal path between pool area and beach. The surrounding area is predominantly flat,Salou has some awkward hilly areas.Food was pretty good and the usual Spanish hotel fare.Rooms were quite small and we're all pretty similar... Lovely location on the beach. Friendly helpful staff. The hotel room looks a little tired in decor and walls very thin. The food was a bit of a let down, poor quality and selection. I have stayed at this hotel a few times and the food has been much better in the past.

We have just returned from our second holiday in the Augustus this year having spent a lovely week there in May. Although the hotel was very busy this time, lots of families, the standard of food and cleanliness was the same - very good. It is an older building and the rooms are basic - linen etc., a bit tired.... More

I stayed with my family in the Augustus during a recent holiday to Spain. We stayed in a "Family room" that was supposedly for 2 x adults and 2 x children. Good points: Location - the hotel is on the beach - walk out the back door of the hotel and you are on the beach The hotel has entertainment... More

The Hotel has been refurbished so the rooms are quite nice, the food at the buffet Is very good you have many choice of Mediterranean food, drinks are not included, the breakfast is not bad but there is no table service for tea and coffee, you can get them yourself from the machines. The swimmingpool is quite small, but just... More

Yes, this hotel sits is beachside, but there were a lot of disappointing factors. Shabby towels for bathroom muse only (no towels provided for pool or beach area) which meant having to purchase towels elsewhere. If you don't want to pay for a chair on the beach, you better get to the pool entrance by 7:45am to RUN to a... More

Generally a good review. Public areas are contemporary and generally well laid out, but the bedrooms are a little old fashioned and could do with a bit of "jushing" and take your own hairdryer unless you're happy to stand in the bathroom for while, it was like having my hair dryed by an asthmatic hamster. There are no tea/coffee making... More

Visited for 6 days with my 14 year old son and Partner at mid-term. Have stayed in a few places in the area and would rate this lowest of all. Food buffet was poor at best and some of it totally un-recognisable. A few labels would be a great help. Very little regard given to non-spanish speakers. Signs for entertainment... More

Just returned back from a 5 night stay ( 18-24th October) and have to say this is a decent hotel. The location is right on the beach and it is a leisurely 30 min stroll into Salou The communal areas are very nice worthy of a 4 star hotel, but the rooms could do with a little modernisation. We stayed... More
