It's a nice hotel, not so modern but comfortable, closed by rail station (600 m), park Dalmau (150 m) and the beach (150 m). Accommodation was good, except the Spanish child group, very noisy. We had some problems with them, it was the staff who solved the situation, but only after 2 or 3 reclamation. The food was very tasty... more

I stayed at this hotel while on a tour otherwise I would have moved after the first night. They have a lot of school tours and the noise is horrendous and constant - door slamming, shouting in the passages (which are tiled so it echoes) until they eventually go to bed. The evening meal was edible but the vegetables were cold,too many chips and not a lot of choice.The location was very central,close to the shops,train station and beach.The room we had was of good size but others in our party of 20 had small rooms.The pool was small but didn't venture in as the temperature of the water was cool. more

the management of this hotel was terrible,ignorant,rude and didnt do their job....i was there as part of a group and they treated us like dirt... blamed us for the noise that was made...even though there was several other groups staying in the hotel.... thay rang the police on us to get in trouble and in the end it was over... more

My daughter and I have recently returned from Calella and found our stay at the Hotel Vila just right. It was in a central position for the beach, train station and shops/bars yet not too noisy for such a central position. The food was excellent for such a small establishment and staff were friendly. The worst hotel i have ever stayed. The ruder employees can be found in this Motel and the service provided is more than minimal. Money thiefts by room cleaners were an everyday phenomenon and the manager's response was a pathetic "If you don't like it you can take your thinks and stay at the beach!" Disgusting! more
