We booked this knowing it was the normal Spanish all inclusive, we were however pleasantly surprised and pleased with our choice. This is about an hour from Girona airport in a coach but a taxi may be 45 minutes, we were quoted 70 euros one way so were pleased we had booked a shuttle online £65 return for 3 adults... More

This is our fourth visit to the Calella Palace - so clearly we're very happy with it. The food's excellent - fresh and lots of choice, the drink also - the local beer is excellent! A very clean, friendly and efficient place - if there are any problems at all the staff respond quickly and politely - and as no... More

Stayed there for 3 nights with friends. There were 9 of us and we booked three rooms. Rooms were all on the same floor but very far apart. Walls are thin and the rooms with good views are quite noisy, especially at night. Rooms were relatively clean and a good size. The cleaning staff are extremely rude and some of... More

Came here last year with 9 year old dAughter for her birthday. Pool was freezing. Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Rooms cleaned every day and towels and sheets replaced everyday too. Balcony was very slopy so was a bit concious of that. Did not feel safe. Food and snacks were available at all times throughout the day. I was all inclusive... More

I've stayed at the Calella Palace a few times, the last being in December 2013.It's a good hotel and its positive points outweigh its negative ones. The rooms are spacious and equipped with en-suite,tv and minibar, the staff (apart from one particular gentleman at the bar) is polite, efficient and friendly, the food (I stayed there on an all-inclusive basis over Xmas) is very good,with... We travelled with 'Just Go' holidays, so the hotel had been chosen for us. The main customers were school groups of teenagers, which made a change from the usual out of season mature travellers coach groups. I wouldn't give it a 4 star, as the walls are thin, and you can't help hearing teens running about. I thought the vegetables... More
