2nd time to the Amaika, once again think the hotel is superbly located and is well worth the money.Stayed all inclusive, found the food very good, plenty of variety with the main courses as long as you don't have all 5/6 options on your plate each night!!. Reception staff are excellent, rooms cleaned to a high standard. Downside if you... More

We stayed at this hotel for one week in July. This hotel is located at very nice place, near see,but it isn't possible to see sea. Service at this hotel is terrible because nobody arnen't care about you, about your staying, staff aren't smiling, unfiendly. Staff can't understand english, receptionist as well, they can't give you all information. Food most of the days the same.... More

A party of four ladies, two over 40's and two over 60's, we had a wonderful week, all inclusive. The rooms were comfortable, food was plentifull and varied and the staff were really friendly. We are already looking forward to going again next year.

This came highly recommended but sadly did not fit the bill in anyway. We arrived at the hotel excited and expectant.. reception seemed barely prepared to even greet us and we were not made to feel welcome. It is safe to say the food was diabolical.. the meat was inedible (bar the chicken nuggets!), food was tasteless and I would... More

Just come back from a really disappointing holiday at the Amaika. The racket heard from the street of screaming young people came in waves till 6am as the bars and clubs emptied, spoilt our stay in the lovely room we were initially given. We were moved to a room with no view. Not the hotel's fault that we were next... More

Got back on the 19th June from the Amaika having spent a lovely 10 nights there. Rooms were spacious We were on the 8th floor and overlooked the pool and a small view of the sea. would recommend a high floor for better views and the lifts are not a problem. The restaurant was good and the food plain but... More

We were here last week on the all inclusive package, people complain about the food but we found it excellent. Lots of choice, hot and cold although desserts were limited. the dining room was well appointed, quiet ish and very clean, cloths changed after each table was vacated. Depending on how long food had been standing in the trays or... More

Hotel is right in the centre of typical Spanish town, pool is too small, sun chasing , and very squashed up sunbeds, we thought the food was awful, all lukewarm, boring fruit, mostly apples and oranges, sometimes they just seemed to cook bones!!!!!!, the sausages were waved at the heat, drinks were fine, entertainment typical Spain, you can't complain at... Booked a last minute hol here with a 1 year old. Asked for a larger room with a travel cot which we were given and happy with. Gap at bottom of balcony is a real worry for little ones so we only ever popped out on the balcony to dry clothes. Guidance on what you are entitled to and how... More
