We visited the area in August, a very busy time. The Hotel Calina was fairly easy to find, with signs everywhere. Staff at the hotel spoke English, Spanish, French, and Catalan, and were very helpful and friendly. It is a real walk to get into Cadaques. 15 minutes - literally uphill both ways. :) Worth the trek - I promise.... More

This is definitely not the most updated, trendy place but we loved our stay here. The rooms are a good size, very comfortable beds. Perfect for families and couples alike. The breakfast is more than enough and the pools (kiddy pool too) are a good size. The views are perfect and location couldn't be better. Just near Salvador Dali house... More

Even at the height of summer, Hotel Calina is a little island of tranquility as everyone else bustles about. A beautifully-maintained, recently-updated and welcoming hotel in a truly beautiful location, the hotel is seconds from Dali's summer house, minutes from some great beaches for snorkelling and a short (if rather steep) walk into Cadaques. The view across the bay is... More

First time in Spain with my whole family. Turns out that specific east coast areas of Spain areas attract different sorts of tourists. Those who love a relaxing atmosphere, beautiful nature and a combination of sun, sea and swimmingpool and a attractive up-style kind of tourism: go to Cadaques. And live your holidays. Calina is a 2 out of 3... More

We went there for 1 night and ended up staying 3. The hotel is bear the Beach and Casa Dali. It is within walking distance from downtown where you find great restaurants. We got help charging our Electric car.

We really enjoyed Port Lligat: the fact we could walk in 15 minutes ti Cadaques, the proximity to the wonderful Dali house, the fisherman boats and the tiny restaurant on the beach. Our room was on the smaller size and mountain side, but it didn't matter. We really enjoyed it. As well the pool and the relaxing atmosphere. Drinks and... More

Fantastic setting, just steps from Dali's House in a small fishing village among old terraces with olive gardens. Hotel is exceptionally clean and well run. Too bad their restaurant is not open for dinner. Excellent parking with all spots shaded by mulberry trees. Rooms are large, airy with good AC and fantastic view. We had partial mountain/sea view which was... More

Wonderful place, excellent service and beautiful german shepherd of the owner. It is the place, where to are people coming back. It is some 15min to Cadaques city centre and 2 min to Dali' house and 5 minutes to tiny beach.

The hotel is in the miniature fishing port of Port Lligat, home of Salvador Dali, in a tiny creek between the beautiful village of Cadaques and the natural park of Cap de Creus. It is a most peaceful location and the decoration has cleverly been kept in the same simple style as the local architecture: lots of white and blue,... More

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It is in the perfect location overlooking a small bay at Port Lligat and very close to Salvador Dali's house. Rooms were clean and cool with plenty of hanging space. Balcony was a little small but we managed to sit four although it was tight. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Esther... More
