Just over the hill and around the bay from Cadaque, literally next door to Salvador Dali's house ( book in advance!) this is a relaxing establishment with lovely little touches and it is brilliantly presented. Great value for money, really friendly helpful staff. Good size room, everything works, scrupulously clean, the grounds maintenance is an indication that nothing is left... More

The accommodations are wonderful. Very large rooms, enormous pool, 50 meters from Dali's home, a beautiful and easy 10-15 minute walk into town. And the staff is just out of the world. Extremely kind, helpful, and exceedingly knowledgable and forthcoming with recommendations of where to eat, what to do, where to go. Just book it now.

This was a sweet medium sized resort hotel near a small, quaint town on the Mediterranean. It's surrounded on two sides by old terraced olive groves, a third side by the courtyard and lovely pool and the fourth side facing the sea (not a great beach, but pretty, with all the colorful boats). It was clean, comfortable and quiet (in... More

We were so lucky to find this place last-minute, and what a find it was! The staff was warm, the rooms clean & unfussy, the views are dynamite. Our first night was spent in a basic room with seaview & balcony.... it was fantastic. The second night we needed to move to the last available room, which was an apartment,... More

We had a room with sea view and our friends a junior suite. The views from these rooms simply stunning. The staff are magnificent and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be back. The pool is great and there is a lovely relaxed atmosphere around the place. Breakfast is adequate and the staff are happy to make a... More

Hotel Calina goes way beyond their duty to make all vacationers feel like family. One evening, they helped my husband figure out the most economical and quickest way to Madrid. Two ladies feverishly typing on their computer figured it out. They spent a large amount of time (at least a half hour) going beyond the call of duty. The pool,... More

For us its all about a great base to explore from but also with good facilities for a day around the pool. The Hotel Calina offers all this and much more. A welcoming smile upon arrival and great service throughout from all the staff. Comfy rooms with a nice little view of the harbour, and a pool big enough to... More

Cadaques is truly the most romantic magnificently beautiful seaside village I have ever had the privilege of holidaying in. I love towns with a "dress-code", all the houses in white with green or blue shutters with the compulsory little cheerful sailboats bobbing nearby. La Calina is in Port-Lligat where Dali's house is and it's a short walk to the main... More

Stayed 5-7 Sept, 2014. Delighted with location and facilities. Staff were always willing to help and advise, Esther and Katie especially. The restaurant staff really cared about the customers. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

LOVED this hotel - location is a 15 minute walk from Cadaques main streets but i preferred this location. Just on a small beach with a couple of beach bar/restaurants and sea kayaking. The hotel itself was lovely - super friendly and helpful staff, good size rooms (we had one overlooking the pool and partial sea view). The owner/manager runs... More
