Situated on a steep hill at the quiet end of the charming, picturesque town of Cadaques, Hotel Rocamar must have been THE place to stay in the 1970's or 80's. The main building and swimming pool area were nice enough, our top floor room was spacious, and the view from our private balcony was stunning, but the place is in... More

Spent the week at Hotel Rocamar at the end of June 2014. The good points were, the location - the hotel is in a great spot, just out of the town but only a 10 minute walk away from the centre where all the restaurants and bars can be found. The room - was a good size, clean and had... More

Spent 3 nights here , the bedroom , with A/C , had recently been refurbished with great views over the sea and little cove/ bay where the hotel is found. Good breakfasts and a 10 mins walk to many many restaurants in this beautiful town NB Be sure to ask reception (speak English & French) to reserve you a place... More

This hotel could be great. It has a beautiful location. It has the bones of a fantastic building. It could be a spectacular resort. BUT....it is soo tired and outdated. Needs a serious freshening of furniture, amenities (seriously, shampoo in a packet like a wet wipe?) and grounds - how about some good lighting on the stone stairs behind the... More

Largest hotel we stayed at during our 3 weeks in Spain. Overlooks Cadeques. Breakfast very good. Rooms quiet, nothing spectacular. It's a bit "out of town", but cab or walking is not a big deal. It is a far piece to Salvadore Dali's place.

This is a lovely hotel: clean, comfortable and with a fantastic view of the sea! (Room 404) It has an authentic decoration (modern furniture would be out of place) It is a quiet and relaxing hotel due to the fact that it is not located in the center of the village. The walk to the center is very pleasant! The... More
