Lovely hotel with swimming pool and kind of private portion of beach. Really nice. Close to the village, a 10 minutes walk. Friendly staff, they even gave us a lift to the train station for free. Not cheap though, but worth it. more

The Rocamar is in a beautiful location, within walking distance to the old town of Cadaques and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. We had a sea view room which had a Fabulous view. The hotel is low on services, and while it has the potentail for great amenities...these don't exist or they're poorly maintained/managed (e.g. swimming pool, terrace with plastic furnitire,... more

The hotel is indeed 100 steps outside the city and it makes a great fun to go up and down. We have not bet for the most dramatic view from the window - but the view from the terrace was absolute best with the lighthouse just a few miles away!!! It is a great place with a car if you... more

Hotel Rocamar wasn't by any means an amazing hotel for the price, based on our other accommodations in the region. It is pretty clear that during the high season the place is always full, and maybe with partying tourists. So they don't go overboard with luxury. That being said, it probably has the best view in town and is not... more

Hotel was just perfect. We had a large room for 4 people. One large bed made of two twins connect and two twin beds for our kids. Room had a balcony with table and chairs and views of mountain and sea. Front desk was super helpful, I think they all spoke at least 4 languages! On a rainy morning they... more

Sure, the hotel is attractively situated, albeit a little further from the town than ideal. Sure, it's very expensive at 125 pounds a room but what do you expect for 3 star in Europe at high season these days? No, our problem was with the awful and uncaring attitude of the owner (which filters down to the staff) when the... more

We booked Sea view but were upgraded to superior (Floor 6). Clean, comfortable room with balcony giving superb views of the whole town and bay. Plenty of parking space. Hotel is very secluded, a 10 minute walk to centre of town and sandy beach. Hotel has direct access to two pebble beaches - one via approx 100 steps, the other... more

We called and could not get a booking because we had a baby and so they could not accomodate all of us in any of the available rooms. They count the baby as a person and they could not understand that we did not need a full extra bed for the baby but just a tiny bed we would bring.... more

Just got back from a 5 night stay at the Rocomar. Cadeques can be very busy and noisy but the Rocomar is well away from the hustle and bustle but just a short walk to get to the restaurants and shops. Had a lovely clean and spacious room overlooking the bay, and the air conditioning really worked! We liked the... more

We have travelled to Cadaques 3-4 times in the last 5 years. Each time we have stayed at the Rocamar. It's more remote than the other offerings in town; on a high hill on the edge of town with a nice beach below the property. The restaurant is excellent for lunch, overlooking the pool and magnificent sea views toward the... more
