This is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. We came to Cadaques for the Dali House Museum and found the hotel to be so special, we would like to return to Cadaques just to stay again in the Sol Ixent. The room was lovely and we consider the restaurant food to be fine dining at a reasonable price. The coastal... More

The hotel is fairly large but manages to impress with the charm of a small, boutique hotel. The town of Cadaques is a gem, and this hotel is a bit on the periphery, but accessible by walking path along the rocky and gorgeous shoreline. Rooms are pretty, clean, and bright, and the large infinity pool sparkles invitingly outside (as does... More

This hotel is around 20 minutes walk from the centre of Cadaques, but it is all you would hope for in order to relax on your holidays. Excellent location, lovely walk into town (or to the Dali house, also around 20 minutes), you can see the sunrise over the Med, the staff are super friendly and the hotel has everything... More

Spent a week here for a late summer break, although it is approximately a mile from the town it is ideally placed for those who like walking. Easy or more difficult walks close by or within easy driving distance. I would not recommend this hotel if you have not got a car (free parking provided). Breakfast excellent with plenty of... More

This hotel is quite far from the centre of Cadaques, with about a 20 minute walk into town. We found two ways to walk to town - either follow the road past all the lovely houses (the road is not very well lit at night) or take a slightly precarious unlit coastal path which gives lovely views of the area.... This is an excellent 3* hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful; the rooms and bathrooms are clean and spacious; the food at breakfast and dinner was varied and plentiful; the wine list sensibly priced; wifi was reasonably reliable; on site parking was available free; the swimming pool was large. The only negative was a 20 minute or so walk... More

This is my second stay here and it did not disappoint my initial impressions. The hotel is excellent for a 3-star. It is located just outside the town of Cadaqués, not far from Dali's house at Port Lligat. The setting is incredibly peaceful, with a view of the sea. It is the ideal place to chill out and a perfect... More

I'm reluctant to review this because it might attract more business and ruin the tranquility of the place. But it is a lovely lovely place to stay. If you want to chill, and lounge by a beautiful pool and not be hassled by anyone- this is the place for you. A little way out of Cadaques it is quiet, on... More

A very well maintained hotel sufficiently away from the crowds and the noise of Caddaquez in August, but not too far. The lady at reception seem to be always there, very friendly and multi-lingual, she is dutch and has been living in Spain for decades. The hotel seem to be run very efficiently (a la Dutch) by a small number... More
