Terrific location, but this hotel needs to up its game. The mattress is hard, you get only one pillow, the shampoo and soap sample packets - hardly enough for one shower let alone two - are not refreshed by housekeeping, the climate control does not work well, and the breakfast (extra $) meant a croissant and mid coffee. Oh, and confirm available parking if you need it. We were told to go find a space somewhere. All in all a disappointing stay; I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

This is a well situated hotel 50 yards from the Templar castle and old town. 15 minute walk from station. It is no frills but provides everything you need including hairdryer . Rooms were hot though despite AC. Bathroom good with powerful shower. Room over Street noisy with window open. Very clean. Restaurant and cafe on site. Seem very popular with locals and menu of day very good value at €12. Breakfast was continental . Good coffee and freshly made orange juice . Not enough if doing Camino. Your rate may include an extra at breakfast like cheese. Check when booking in and insist it is provided at breakfast. What lifted this hotel to next level was the amazing receptionist Silvia. She was charming and very helpful. We had a problem and she was so brilliant in sorting it out with patience and good humour. She is a real credit. Unlike the early morning receptionist who was never behind the reception counter too busy chatting to staff in the cafeteria. Silvia should be given a pay rise. Thank you for all your help Silvia.

stayed here after a long hike from Rabanal Del Camino-the room was okay but there were issues with the aircon which was not the best and also the shower within the bath was not intuitive in terms of use-we had lunch which was adequate but the dinner left a lot to be desired-breakfast was limited also--good location as the name would suggest just round the corner from the castle

A basic roadside type accommodation. Efficient staff who were polite and friendly. Very useful to have a shop when stocking up in the morning to set off on the Camino. Very close to a beautiful little village with lots of storks nesting on the roofs of the houses and steeple of the church.

We had a room for 3 on the 3rd floor and it was clean, comfortable and had good air conditioning. Breakfast was not included in the rate, but there is a small cafe on the first floor. Location is near the castle and old quarter, and next to the Camino. Strong WiFi, pleasant front desk service, and no internal laundry service available.

Great location which is close to the castle and old town so walking distance to bars and restaurants. The bedroom was clean and comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. There was a safe underground garage where our cycles were delivered. Also cars and motorcycles had the use. The breakfast was served in their cafe which is open to the public. We were cold in there with the door open. And it was a struggle to get served only one waitress trying to do everything. We were only offered a croissant or toast tea or coffee. The toast was over cooked and broke my husbands tooth. So the breakfast experience could have been better for us. Having said we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

No frills clean and decent hotel. It is close to the Camino and castle. The fixed price dinner (menu peregrino) was one of the best our group have had. The breakfast is basic but is served from 6:00 which is very handy if you are walking the Camino.

Comfortable. Very near the castle. Beds clean and comfy Shower excellent. Breakfast in the bar can only be described as minimalist ....juice .coffee and croissant . Parking reasonably priced and secure. A certain workmanlike charm. Well worth the cost.

The hotel is a short walk from the Templar castle. Room was clean and comfortable with a good bathroom, it has a secure underground garage for cars and motorbikes. The old town is well worth a visit. The hotel has a restaurant onsite and it was open, there was menu of the day or from the main menu, good value.

Great location - just opposite the castle and within walking distance to the town square. The room is comfortable, clean and the bathroom looks like it is recently renovated. Over all very satisfied. We had breakfast and lunch at the hotel - services splendid and food quality good.
