Just returned from Club las olas and had a fantastic time. Was dreading going as the reviews were terrible but it couldn't have been better! Can't comment on the food as we were s/c, however everything looked really nice in the restaurant. Hotel was ideal location, very clean (cleaned daily, fresh towels etc), friendly and helpful staff, all of which... more

I stayed at this hotel complex from 17th-24th June 2009 with my partner in the Punta Elena (Club las Olas II) across the road from the main Club las Olas. We stayed in a self-catering apartment overlooking the pool. On arrival at the hotel reception I found the staff very friendly and efficient. They spoke excellent English and quickly checked... more

We had Bed&Breakfast there for 1 week, breakfast was poor, not very much to choose from, and it could be served in more appropriate way (cheese and ham slices laying down next to hot counter, actually in hot counter just the section was not on). The choice was: fry egg, very dry (last day we had scrambled eggs, why not... more

I'm an easy going person and read some bad reviews but thought it couldn't be too bad. How wrong I was! It was smelly, food and crumbs left in the cupboard, a filthy room, brown water (when we actually had some) and to top it off there was a huge spillage stain to the right of the bed as it... more

After not long returning home from Club Las Olas in F. ventura, myself, my partner and our teenage girls all wish we could return to Club Olas today . We went as part of a group of 8 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The only disappointment was the value of the Euro and the lack of maintenance regarding electrics around our... more

We were looking for a cheap holiday in the sun, we decided to go SC as we had had a bad experience with AI the yr before. When we arrived the guy on reception was very friendly, we had to wait about an hour for our room. When we got to our room it was very much on the cheap... more

We were staying at Las Olas because that's where most kitesurfers stay and we hoped to bump into some - which we did! The staff were really friendly and the room was really big for 2 people and you could cook your own meals which was very handy. Also loads of storage space for all the kit so it's not... more

The first thing i would say about Las Olas is that it reminds me of a hostel. Not that this is a bad thing but, when you pay to stay in a holiday complex then this is not what you'd expect. Our first room was changed because of brown water that others have complained of. As soon as we arrived... more

I read other reviews before we went, so i didn't set my hopes to high. The room was ok, a bit dated, the towels/beds weren't changed as often as advertised. The maid came 6 times in a week the towels changed once and the bed once. We had apartment 230 which had the best aspect regarding the sun (south facing).... more
