As other reviewers have mentioned, the staff at the Hotel Arena were first rate. Almost everyone was friendly, especially Mario who our son looked forward to seeing, the pool guard, our cleaner and most of the restaurant staff. On our last day the staff changed and several slightly dour people were on shift although this didn't dampen our holiday. Even... More

We recently booked a ai at the hotel arena for 3 of us and were meant to be getting a so called special room ..after arriving we were confronted by a very rude receptionist which wasn't the greatest start but we just ignored it and went to our room which wasn't anything special a very cramped and dated room and... Had a fab week here start of December ,rooms spacious and kept spotlessly clean ,food good standard ,we were all inclusive, there was plenty to choose from and it included local dishes like paella and Canarian stew which was yummy ,only downside pool and jacuzzi too cold to swim in ,if it was heated it would make a huge difference

This hotel is awful. They charged for towels and cleaning the towels, charged for the tv remote, charged for the air con remote (that didn't work) and the food was terrible. Chips everyday and even they were cold

This hotel has positives and negatives. Definitely not a four star but could be with a few tweaks. When we arrived we were quite underwhelmed with the immediate surroundings however after an outing we were pleasantly surprised with the beach, shops and main town area which are nearby. (Mostly flat but it is a bit of a walk). So do... More

Just returned from a one weeks stay at the Arena. We were very pleased with our stay, the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and kept very clean. There was an excellent selection of food to choose from, catering for all needs. The entertainment was not that good, on an evening... More
