We have visited the Casa twice. Perhaps it's more important for readers to know what El Morro isn't; It isn't a full hotel; there is no bar, there is no restaurant or room service, there are no noisy hen parties and the visiting children are surprisingly well-behaved. It is a quirky, very individually designed collection of self-contained suites, built in... More

This was indeed one of the best hotels we could have stayed at when visiting Lanzarote. This was our very first time in the Canary Islands and staying at this lovely property consisting of rooms that are in fact small private 'homes', made all the difference. Situated in the heart of the most iconic landscape of the island, overlooking the... More

Thank you so much for your great review. We are very happy you enjoyed your stay. We feel fortunate to receive so many compliments about our house, we appreciate your comments. We had a wonderful time with our 5 month old daughter. Perfect apartment. We enjoyed the breakfasts and meeting the other Casa El Morro guests. We loved it all. Friendly, relaxing, beautifully decorated and perfect if you are travelling with a baby. Ideal if you don't want to do the Brit package deal style holiday.

Magnificent, just what we wanted. A quiet getaway off the beaten track, set in a very peaceful part of Lanzarote with no traffic noise nor light pollution at night. The stars were a wonder to behold and having breakfast on the terrace listening to the sound of the birds was a great way to start the day. The walks setting... More
