Quiet relaxed small hotel close to the spectacular volcano region. Interesting varied decor. Good scenery. Car park on site. Small pool in a pleasant courtyard with large interesting cacti. Good WiFi. Good location for car trips. Very good buffet breakfasts on the sunny terrace include smoked salmon (perhaps from the smokery in nearby Uga?) and the excellent Lanzarote bread rolls.... This Casa is within easy walking distance of the village which has a small supermarket and several restaurants, it is a traditional casa with most of the rooms around a small courtyard. There is a lovely sunny terrace for breakfast which is continental style help yourself with plenty of choice of cereals, fruit, meat & cheese, yoghurts, croissants and bread.... More

This hotel is beautifully decorated, with interesting details in every room. Unfortunately, the service does not match this. We arrived at dusk, and the place was deserted. When we finally found a number to call on the barrier, the owner came to meet us from his other – clear more important -hotel. While he was friendly enough when he met... More

This casa sits just outside the village but is within easy walking distcance of the few amenities. The property is a traditional casa with garden and pool. There is no bar for drinks or coffee but you are welcome to use the provided fridge for your own wine etc and there is kettle, water, etc to make a drink throughout... More

We spent a week in the Casa in October and enjoyed relaxing in the sunshine. The room had a large window with an amazing view out to the coast as did the small pool area, where we often swam as the sun went down since it was still warn enough to do so! The inner courtyard was beautifully lit in... More

We stayed here three years ago and the rooms were superb with an "Real Lanzarote atmosphere" it is very nice. You can feel you are in a special place. Last time rooms didn´t have air conditioning this is the only handicap we found. The swimmingpool at night is great :)

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our holiday. We'd read the reviews but if anything it was even nicer than expected. We were greeted on arrival and the member of staff spoke good English. We had room 3 which was a lovely room and a strong WiFi signal if needed. The breakfast was a buffet with a good choice and... We chose Casa de Hilario over Casa De Yaiza because of Tripadvisor reviews on the dark rooms in the latter and were happy to have the upstairs room with its large windows. The room was comfortable but without a seating area for two, so we made good use of the lovely upstairs lounge a few steps away. The breakfast buffet... More

Excellent Casa in Yaiza. Great room and excellent breakfast. Good restaurant next door and a great location for exploring Timanfaya National Park. Lovely breakfast terrace and lounge for the cooler evenings

We booked into the Casa de Hilario as we were willing to pay extra for a boutique hotel in a quieter part of the Island. Very pleased at our choice of Yaiza, as it is on the edge of the volcanic National Park and the Restaurant beside the hotel was one of the best on Lanzarote. We arrived at the... More
