Hi from Fatha-1 4/4/2015 Just got back from the Bahia Playa Blanca in Papagayo Lanzarote its former name was Cay Beach Papagayo. Not to be confused with the Cay Beach Sun in Playa Blanca. Please Note! We found All the staff in the apartments very friendly and helpful not as reported when Cay Beach owned A word of warning the... More

We booked this last minute holiday through Teletext Holidays, who charged us more than their quoted price and said it was because we were getting an "upgrade" (Will not be using them again) We had booked a self catering apartment but were given a standard room which had no catering facilities at all. Reception were very unhelpful and eventually we... More

We arrived in the dark and it was very difficult to find our way round. There are many steps and few directions. As we checked in we had to pay 50 euros each for a deposit! We had booked a self catering apartment but were given a double standard room and received no help at all from reception to changeit. It took... A woman walks around this place in jeans being rude to the customers. She appears to be the manager as when you try to complain by email the emails go to her. The holiday was supposed to be all inclusive but both the old waiter and this woman in jeans shout at you if you fill up a water bottle... More

We booked in to this hotel that is called Bahia Playa Blanca although it's not a hotel. We arrived at 8.00pm on Saturday 27/12/2014 to be treated with a closed reception. After being dumped by the taxi we wondered around this very dark place to find a few people sitting outside having a drink. One of them a very kind... More

We were so unsure about what we were going too because of old reviews. We found out that the hotel had just been taken over so we had a pleasant surprise when it was lovely. The apartment rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The pool was open and the sun bathing area was again spotlessly clean. The... More

Just got back from a CLOSED resort. Pool closed, fenced off and covered in bird droppings, no sun beds, no pool bar, no pool cues, no shop, no restaurant, closed reception...... shocking. When pool opened it was left fenced off, surrounding area never cleaned and the bird droppings just got worse. Apartments large and spacious but in need of TLC.... More

Do not confuse with Cay Beach Sun. Just got back today 30.07.13. from one week at the CLOSED resort. Yes we were booked into a closed resort, (no reception, pool, bar etc) as were two or three other couples. We paid £44.00 per night for one bedroom apartment with two ringed hob, microwave oven, fridge, toaster, kettle and coffee percolator.... More

Arrived 22nd April having been told the Cay Beach Sun had no rooms available, despite having booked in Feb - thank you On The Beach!! Room was large and clean with good facilities but it was all downhill after that. Although we saved a lot of money by being 'upgraded' to all inclusive, I would rather have paid to eat out,that...
