Just returned after staying at Reads for a week - what a lovely week we had. The hotel is set in the countryside and is very peaceful, but if you fancy a trip out there is a regular train service in the village, its not expensive, and you can get to anywhere. Our room was huge and spotlessly clean. The... More

Wonderful honeymoon, very relaxing, very quiet, beautiful building, not much to do here (unless you're a cyclist). Fabulous food, had a really special chefs table dinner one night. Lovely family run hotel...our room was HUGE. Lots of reading, relaxing, scrabble and sunbathing. The spa treatment was amazing...I am a discerning spa user and this is THE BEST massage I've ever... Just back from spending a wonderful 4 days at this superb hotel and spa. The setting is beautiful, the hotel and spa - stunning, the staff unrivaled. They could not do enough for us even getting special request foods in for us, their own menu is very very good, with lots of fish, which we love. We are so relaxed... More

A friend and I arranged a last minute weekend away. I had stayed at Reads years ago with family and was pleased it was still as good as I remembered. We didn't leave the hotel all weekend as everything we needed was there. We will definitely be returning as soon as we can.

You won't get better cocktails anywhere else than at Reads Hotel and that's just the start. It's a beautifully restored hotel carried out by Mr read who has owned it for over 19 years who gave up the city life in London and has done a fantastic job. It's in the middle of the island so not too far from... More

I stayed in this hotel with Trek bicycle tours. My room was amazing. A suite overlooking the courtyard. The staff at the hotel was very nice and very accommodating. Mr. Reads were there and he is quite a character. The hotel has a lovely outdoor pool as well as an indoor pool and hot tub which was not very hot... More

I stayed at the Reads Hotel as part of a one week Trek bicycle tour. It is quite interesting and unique as it is an old home converted to a hotel. Each room is different, well furnished and spacious. We also had breakfast and dinner at the hotel each day which was excellent. I also enjoyed the staff which were... More

I stayed at Reads end of Nov. 2014 for a week and had a fantastic stay. We have been to Mallorca 3 times in the last 6months for biking. We previously stayed in Esplendido, Port de Soller and Son Brull, Pollenca, which are both great hotels, however in terms of hospitality, service, food and atmosphere Reads beats them both. Reads... A very relaxing informal hotel. Our bedroom was the most spacious rooms I have ever stayed in with moorish decoration and even an outside courtyard with loungers. No it wasn't perfect, one of the sockets came off the wall and not all the spa rooms functioning and perhaps the grounds a little unkept and a hot breakfast included would have... More

The hotel speaks for itself - spacious and comfortable with lovely intimate touches such as the supply of books which you are welcome to borrow and even take home if you don't finish reading them (!) - but the staff need special mention. Those on Reception are delightful and go out of their way to be of assistance, while Michael... More
