we stayed with 12 members of the family for 11 days there and found nearly everything well organized. Quality of Services and food was excellent. There was a wide variety of food offered and everybody could find his favorite. Hotel is clean and quiet. The hotel with 163 rooms is not such big which we noticed positive. Rooms are all... More

Marfil Playa is pretty ordinary compared to the other Hipotel hotel Hipocampo Playa where we stayed last year. I was looking forward to the stay after I saw good reviews, However, I did not find anything special at the hotel. Nothing fresh and innovative about food - pretty repetitive. Feels like the same things are used for breakfast, lunch and... More

We arrived on 24 Sept 2014 after a week on a cruise booked via Thomas Cook. Sadly there was no Thomas Cook rep at the hotel and we were left to fend for ourselves. Check in was pleasant. 1 of our 3 rooms was not ready, but we were able to get our AI bands and use the facilities. We... More

We have just returned from an enjoyable holiday at Hipotels Marfil Playa. This was booked through Thomas Cook on an All Inclusive tariff. On arrival at our hotel the reception was first class in greeting us & making us welcome. We were quickly able to go to our room & settle in. The standard of the room & all the... More

I stayed here for a week early September with my wife and young daughter, we loved the hotel, clean pool, good location, food was nice but a bit repetitive, however breakfast was really good, pastries were amazing! The room was great, had a small fridge which was great with a baby, The staff couldn't do enough for us, brilliant... Only... More

Me and a friend reently stayed at Hipotel Marfil Playa on holiday. We couldn't have asked for a better hotel. It was close to all amenities (restaurants, bars and shops are literally OPPOSITE the hotel!) and the beach was only a 5 minute walk away if that. The staff in the hotel were great, giving special thanks to Jacob (the... More

My Brother In Law and I both celebrated our 60th birthdays this year, so 10 of us stayed All Inclusive at the Marfil Playa, and what a fabulous time we had! Great food, delightful, friendly staff and one of the best entertainment teams we've seen. Food was very good indeed, with the added bonus of the lovely Loli on the... More

I found this hotel to be excellent and the location is first class. The hotel caters for many nationalities but I did not find it to favour any one nationality. The food in the hotel is the best of any of the all inclusive that i have stayed in ( 8 ).The pool area is kept clean and tidy and the... Great Hotel in a grat location, service and food choices good, but could do with rotating the menu now and again, if you like Chicken Chips Pork and Salad you'll be made. Entertainment a little dated on some of the nights (for older generations really), but the compair is great and gets you all involved. Plenty of good Bars within... More

Travelling with my family for a five day break we relied on Tripadvisor to guide us to a suitable hotel location. We found the Hotel to be well run with friendly helpful staff. Careful attention to detail both in terms of the buffet breakfast and evening meals, but also cleaning and gardening by members of hotel staff was ongoing outside... More
