We spent a week here. The location was quiet and access to the sea via a small private beach-style inlet was easy and beautiful, making for quiet and good sea swimming. The hotel design is clever: many small terraces on steps down a steep hill so that every one had a quiet sitting/ sunbathing area with several small pools and... More

Main point: this hotel doesn't merit 5*. Its in a nice part of Majorca, really good beaches for swimming within easy reach - flat, calm, clear sea, sandy sea bed + beaches. Local area nice, pretty Moorish-style architecture and a few reasonable restaurants (the best by some margin is La Gritta). This last is just as well as dinner in... More

Very traditional with lots of fountains, wrought iron and terracotta. It is a lovely hotel. I chose a bungalow which had a huge terrace which even included a fish pond! There were also steps leading up to a massive rooftop terrace with amazing views. Unfortunately it wasnt a good choice for a lone female as I felt scared because it... More

We arrived at the hotel after spending a few days in Cala D'or. Arrivning at the hotel the receptionist told us that unfortunately we were overbooked (we booked through booking.com) the first night. The hotel had found another hotel for us (Cala Fornells) 200 meters away where we could stay (for free) the first night and the also offered a... More

Location, rooms and staff excellent. Only disappointment was the couple of dinners we ate at the hotel in the course of the week. Nothing wrong with the food, but we found it rather unexciting and the main courses which were served at the table were dry and overcooked. We´d definitely return though, a beautiful spot.

We stayed at the neighbouring hotel of Cala Fornells, and popped in for a drink: the views of the bay from the terrace were panoramic: the restaurant guests looked relaxed and happy, and the waiting staff seemed very attentive without a single Fawlty Towers moment. We did wonder why they seemed to be building a menagerie alongside the steep drive... More

Great hotel with fantastic staff, in great setting being able to hear the sea from your bed, if I stayed longer would have to purchase a full new wardrobe in larger size..... over the food and drink! Thanks to all!!!! and looking forward to going back

The receptionists are not friendly or service-oriented (their approach is either "it is not possible" or "do it yourself"). Rooms are old-fashioned and all the showers leak (which means your bathroom is floded after every shower). The facilities described in their website (gym, tennis courts) are either non-existant -gym- or simply facilities owned by other hotels and obviously subject to... More

We visited Cala Fornells last summer and stayed in the Coronado Hotel. We wandered into the Petit and vowed to return this year. So glad we did. It reminded us of a stunning place in Florence, Torre Di Bellosguardo, and the Residencia Hotel in Deia (didn't stay in this one but had lunch) but for a fraction of the price.... More

We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend in October on a H/B basis, the hotel is on a fairly steep hill and access to most rooms is either by lift if you are lucky enough to stay in the hotel, we were given a room/suite which seemed to wind its way up the hill, thank goodness we didnt... More
