We loved this place, the views are amazing, the location is great, I'm not sure if I would call it hostel, seems more Bed and breakfast, and is not cheap for a hostel but I think Deia is not a cheap town at all, the staff is very helpful the only problem why I still can't give 5 stars is... More

Lovely setting and views to die for . Rooms are minimal but perfectly adequate , in keeping with a traditional old Spanish building . The landlady is uncommunicative to say the least . The breakfast very small and set out on trays . Don't take too much ! Lovely terrace to sit out on with a drink when you get... More

We were on a walking holiday in Spain and our bookings were made for us so all of our accommodations were a surprise as we went. After a disappointing stay 2 nights before at a different hostel, I was not looking forward to this one but we were pleasantly surprised by Hostal Villa Verde. The rooms are no frills basic... More

Charming and magical, Villa Verde has outstanding views from its shaded terrace across Deia to the Tramuntana mountains. The rooms are comfortably furnished in a traditional style, as are the public area's. The breakfast offer is simple but more than adequate and there is free Wi-Fi in the main house. There is no air-con and although fans are provided I... More

This hostel is on a hill overlooking Deia. Stunning. They have tables set up on an outdoor terrace for breakfast, drinks and snacks with an unbelievable view over the town. We came in late due to missed bus connection in Palma, we did call, but by mistake they gave us an upgraded room with a terrace and an outstanding view.... More

Determined to spend one night in Deia, I found the most reasonable option at the picturesque Hostal Villaverde, up the hill at the centre of this beautiful and historic Mallorcan village. My double room on the ground floor was incredible - very plain and simple decor, with a fabulous antique mahogany bed with mother of pearl inlay and a mahogany... More

A basic hostal/hotel, but in a very picturesque setting with incredible views from the breakfast patio, which makes it a worthwhile stay. Parking in this area is very difficult, you have to rent a permit from the hostal and find a space up or down in the village. Not for anyone with heart or breathing condition or wheelchair as this... Well, at least the hotel is called a hostal, which makes you expect less. However, the Villa verde really is disappointing. We paid 80 € for the room, which was TINY and didn't even have windows. It was very clean, but the shower was clogged and the room was really warm. There is no TV, no air conditioning and nothing... More

My partner and I have driven through Deia scores of times, but never actually stopped to check it out, but after having been enchanted by the book "Wild Olives" by William Graves... we took the Soller bus from Plaza de España (€2.65) and got off in Deia. Wow! So glad we did. Such a wonderful, beautiful little village. I highly... More
