I took my 6 year old daughter for a holiday over the new year period. The hotel was very good and their actual new year's dinner and party was great. The hotel is in a good location, close to the local ammenities and buses into Palma. I would definately reccomend. more

Stayed at the Helios Hotel feb 2008. Hotel looks lovely and was very clean. Rooms clean but could do with being updated. Reception staff were friendly and happy to help. nice hotel. A little dilapidated but with a pleasant atmosphere, nice garden and indor pool. Meals were buffet style and although not anything special, were wholesome and provided plenty of choice. Having read through the reviews below, I would have to add a boring, "Me too". To us it was: - cheap (40 Euros per night, full board, for two people) - cheerful - entertainment every night - safe - nice area - quiet - little or no aircraft noise - full of seniors from Spain - good for the kids... more

I have stayed in Hotel Helios with my husband and may two daughters. It was much better than expected. We have been accommodated at the apartments, comfortable beds, very spacious, excellent for the Kids. Lovely garden and good area of playground, mini-golf ... Food was good for 3-star-hotel. having just returned from mallorca, i would like to comment that although the hotel rooms were basic, there could be no fault in the maid service and the hotel was kept clean and inviting. The reception staff were curtious although not as chatty as the bar staff who most of them are very friendly (whatever the nationality) and are welcoming... more

We stayed at the Helios hotel from Aug 31 thru Sept 4. The room was basic, no carpet, comfortable beds and a nice balcony with view of pool and side view of ocean/beach (1 block away). Just returned from the Hotel Helios in Can Pastilla. A 3* hotel just a few minutes drive from the aiport. Rooms were clean and had maid servicedaily. The hotel is near the airport but does not suffer greatly from aircraft noise. At the time of my visit the majority of guests were Spanish old age pensioners. The remainder were German visitors. The food in the restaurant was plentiful but not very interesting. There was entertainment each evening , including bingo. If you could understand Spanish I'm sure... more
