We always tell our children that the world is too big to go anywhere twice but with Cala Barca we made an exception. Our boys are 14 and 6 and even my daughter, who is 22 loved it at Cala Barca. The all inclusive holiday has had some harsh criticisms but I can't fault it at Cala Barca. Not only... more

We have just returned from a week at the Iberostar Cala Barca. This is a large complex, spread over something around 40 acres. It was approximately a 15 minute walk from one end to the other. We were in a fairly central location in bldg 41, and could be at the main complex in 5 minutes or less. We never... more

This was our second visit tp Cala Barca and we enjoyed it even more than before. The food was very good and plentiful, resulting in us all returning home several pounds heavier. There seemed to be a varied selection of drinks available. The rooms were clean but a litle basic. However, the staff are so helpful and friendly it would... more

The complex itself is extremely well managed and maintained and our rooms were excellent standard with plenty of room for myself and my husand and our two children aged 1 and 2. the rooms were cleaned every day except one and the maid was lovely although disappoiningly on the one day that a different maid came 7euros and one of... more

Travelled with 3 kids (8,2 and 1). Booked via Travelrepublic, got an apartment for 1 week AI . Flew to Palma directly with BA ( not advisable with young kids as the times of the flight are in the middle of the night). Ok, so after reading multiple reviews of this hotel, I decided to take the plunge... If you... more

Have read the reviews on the site and cannot believe that there are no comments about our main gripe. We booked all inclusive. After a couple of days we realised that all the "inclusive" wines, beers and spirits contained no alcohol whatsoever. If we wanted a drink we either had to buy at the shop for consumption in our room,... more

The resort is hilly but this is made clear when you book. The rooms are basic but very clean, plenty of wardrobe space and a decent bathroom. Some reveiwers have said that the air-con is only on at night but this wasn't true of ours. Scrum for the sun-beds, certainly but only if you want to sit around the pool... more

I was very apprehensive about visiting this hotel after reading some of the reviews - particularly those that stated that the hotel only catered for Germans. As I had not booked through a package operator with two small children (age 3 and 4) and not fluent in either Spanish or German, I was actually dreading the fact that something may... more

I feel I need to put this review into perspective from the outset. My wife, 2 children (boys aged 6 and 8) and I holiday 2 or 3 times a year. We’ve always (since the kids were born) stayed All Inclusive. This was our 4th Iberostar Hotel, but the first 3 star, the others have been 4 and 5 star.... more

Honestly, read reviews about this hotel before we left and I have to report back and say that this hotel is excellent. We will be rebooking but for 2 weeks next year. Beach is great. So much to do on site. You can go scuba diving (at a cost), horse riding, loads of sports. It really is excellent. Lots for... more
