This forms part of three reviews of hotels my wife and I recently stayed in as part of a self organised tour of Majorca: - 1. Melia Boutique in Cala d'Or 2. Daina in Puerto Pollensa 3. Melia Palas Atenea The Melia Boutique Hotel is situated in a quiet area on the edge of Cala d'Or. As the previous reviews... More

We live on the island, so this was a little bit of a luxury holiday, At 1st sight, this hotel is sumptuous, but after we had checked in, we found some things lacking. There was tea making facilities, except, there was no milk, and only cream (which had gone off) in the fridge, when I asked for milk, I gave... More

We (a family with 2 adolescent children aged 15 and 17) stayed in this hotel for 1 week (5-12 October 2014) and it was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were tidy and spatious (we had a junior suite and a double room) with nice balconies, the gardens were beautifully kept, and although the hotel was... We stayed at this hotel for a week. From our arrival till departure today staff could not be more helpful. Reception is small, we had to wait a short time to check in although this wasn't a problem. Everything was explained to us about the hotel, we were offered champagne, a porter delivered our cases and we were escorted to... More

Have just returned from a week at this wonderful hotel with my husband,2 year old grandchild and his parents. I was responsible for booking the holiday so was rather concerned that as a Boutique Hotel it would not be suitable for young children.Without doubt it is one of the best hotels I have encountered. It is definitely family friendly but at... As you probably know by now, this is a small boutique hotel with only 49 rooms/suites. We booked a last minute deal last week and therefore only had the option of room only. luckily we had a booked a junior suite(301) and had the use of the kitchenette , so we did not miss breakfast (20 Euros each if you... This hotel only has 49 rooms and lives up to it's claim of being a 'boutique' establishment. The quality of everything is as you would expect for what you are paying,(it's not inexpensive) having said that it is value for money. The staff without exception were very attentive and helpful you could not fault them. The air conditioning is whisper... More

Nice group of low-rise buildings in pleasant grounds. Good greeting. Nice big room with balcony overlooking gardens. Enormous bed. Tea & coffee making facilities and well performing free Wifi throughout. Lunch at pool-side restaurant - very good. Good bathroom - decent in-bath shower. Breakfast room nice, and breakfast was fine, but a bit cramped around fresh cooked food station and... More

So much so that we have just returned from our seventh annual visit - we just keep going back as we love the hotel and Cala D'Or. It's the wonderful staff, the lovely rooms and... More
