A charming small hotel centrally located with loads of character. Almost impossible to find without help, Sat Nav gets you close but actually getting to the free parking spots outside the hotel requires a minor miracle and some tricky manouvers - big vehicle drivers beware. We had a one night stay here booked at the last minute and at a... More

I visited Ubeda for the first time last week, and found it to be a really interesting city, with many historic buildings, churches and places of interest. The standard of cuisine within the local restaurants and tapas bars was the best I have ever experienced in the last 15 years of travelling through Spain. We chose Hotel Nueve Leyendas because... With road works in the square it was hard to navigate to park outside for which the owners were very apologetic. But we were able to park free nearby. The owners were very friendly and provided us with all the relevant maps and information as soon as we arrived. Large comfortable room on the first floor, no issues with noise.... More

I highly recommend this hotel. Our room (a standard double on the top floor) was very comfortable: an enormous, firm bed; a comfortable sofa; a smallish but adequate bathroom; and a fridge. We slept very well all 3 nights of our stay—and took a siesta or two as well. (We followed others’ advice and asked for a room on the... More

I endorse everything previous reviewers have said about this lovely hotel. We were touring Spain and staying in historic paradors, except for two nights here in this seemingly historic hotel . Just 9 rooms, each named after a local legend (hence the name). The owners are charming, helpful and welcoming - as soon as we put our bags down our... More

We stayed here as part of our Andalusian tour. This small hotel is set in a perfect location, just behind the Parador, within the beautiful old town. Ubeda is such a perfect old town and glorious to wander around. We were given a perfect very large top floor room with a lovely vaulted ceiling, Jacuzzi bath and a rather strange... More

This is nice hotel, family-run and very quiet. Centrally located. Our room was very comfortable with a small bathroom attached. Breakfast was a bit limited but we had fresh orange juice - which one of our party felt might have been a bit old. And I wasn't sure the butter was fresh. But everyone was very friendly. It's a lovely... More

Our room with wooden shutters faced the quiet street and the car was parked in the public street outside. The room was unusual- open plan with an untested jacuzzi corner bath and the ornate half height headboard doubling also as the double sink splash back behind. Thankfully the toilet was in a separate cubicle., There was a flat screen t... More

While located some 100 meters from San Pablo Church, the Hotel Nueve Leyendas is not easy to find while driving through the myriad of narrow, one way streets. You may need to get out of the car and ask for help, as we did, and to find that the hotel was just around the corner. The citizens of Ubeda are... More

Having stumbled upon this hotel whilst on a driving holiday across Spain I could not recommend it highly enough. It is ideally located 50metres from the old square in Ubeda and gives easy access to all the historic sights. I booked three rooms one hour prior to my arrival late in the evening and I was met by the owners... More
