good location - Ubeda is great for a wander through dozens of tapas bars and is a lovely town. the hotel was clean, modern and the breakfast was very good. pretty authentic spanish in my opinion - not very many tourists - which is nice for a change.

We just had one night at the Cuidad and would have enjoyed staying longer. It's a comfortable, good value hotel just a ten minute stroll out of the amazingly beautiful old town. There's a supermarket and petrol station a one minute walk away and we managed to get free parking right outside. Our visit wasn't without some minor niggles -... More

Stayed one night at this hotel which is on the outskirts of the town but has secure underground car parking. There is a outdoor swimming pool and an old world feel to the hotel. The room was of a good size, the bed large and comfortable and bathroom was also good. Staff were very friendly and the food at the... More

Arrived in a slight rain storm and the staff couldn't have more helpful. The desk clerk spoke English which was a great help. we tried to walk down to the old part of town but the rain and cold got to us (a good 15 min. walk). The hotel room was large and very comfortable, but there was a glass... More

A bit away from the center of town, but if warm enough, not a bad walk. Our check in was great, very friendly and good English (leaned form the previous review??). The room was great but be warned, most rooms only have twin beds and we found the very nice. The room was spacious and good windows overlooking the valley. The... More

We stayed for four nights in a spacious comfortable room and bathroom - quite nice but dated. The hotel is a good 15 minute walk to the historical centre - but with free parking outside the hotel and the excellent breakfast with coffee, juice, cereals and a fantastic selection of fresh fruit, hams, salamis, cheeses and pastries it was really... The RL Ciudad is a nice 4 star hotel. We stayed 4 nights in a large and very comfortable room. The hotel is situated outside of the historical neighborhood, but it is an easy walk to the old city. Ubeda is an elegant and beautiful World Heritage Site. There were few tourists, even in mid-July. The hotel offers a wonderful... More

We spent four nights at this hotel in order to visit Ubeda and Baeza. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the old historical part of Ubeda. And convenient to the bus station. We paid $35 a night, which made up for the walking. The hotel and room were very nice, though the bed is a little hard for... More

Ubeda wasn't on our original itinerary, but I'm glad we detoured here. It is a charming place and a center of the leather trade in the area. This hotel was a real deal. The lobby and common areas very nice. The bar was a joke-no one ever there to help us. So we gave up. The rooms very nice sized.... More

Ubeda is a World heritage site, together with its neighbour, Baeza. With few tourists, even at the best time for a tourist to go, it is probably the most neglected but amazing city in Andalucia. We went from home on the Costa del Sol and it took four hours driving along excellent and nearly empty roads but it can be... More
