This was our first time staying at a Parador in Spain and we really enjoyed it. The room was charming but very comfortable and quite large. We had a corner room with a view of the church. It's close to free parking and an easy walk to restaurants and tapas bars. The service was very good. Based on our experience... More

This is truely a historic hotel but well maintained - not sure if the offical 160€ rates plus breakfast (16€ each person) are worth the money - our room was ok but you see the age everywhere (we paid ony 78€ with Orbitz 15% voucher), also you can hear the neighbours. During checkin process it was suddenly highly important to... More

Our first Christmas in Spain was spent in this wonderful city. The Parador is in a beautiful 16th century former palace, well appointed, with friendly staff and an excellent restaurant. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve meal, beautifully presented and delicious food paired with wonderful wines. Can't wait to return

This was the last Parador on our tour, in November, before entering Madrid. Our room was HUGE and very well appointed. Our morning tea 'tray' became TWO tea trays!!! YIKES, so much food and no extra charge!! Our window opened to a back/side street. It was a little noisy with groups walking through after their evening outings. The A/C was... More

We stayed here two nights. It was wonderful. Loved the location. Although our room looked out on the square in front, it was very quiet at night. It is so easy to walk into town for a nice coffee, tapas, ice cream, etc. We would love to return someday.

A palace, in the beautiful old town of Ubeda, and I have to say, I loved the location of this Parador, I loved it from the outside, the beautiful square that it sits in and all the other wonderful buildings around it, not to mention the Chapel. Then you come inside and it is just spectalular, we got the great... More

Older hotel. It used to be a palace. Twenty foot ceilings and my bed although hard had a canopy so I felt like a piece of history. It didn’t have enough plugs for me but there was wifi. Plus it was in the dead center of town so walking around was great. My room looked over the plaza. Nice place.

Gorgeous rooms with ample space. Ours had entrance hall, lounge area and an outside patio in a lovely courtyard. The staff were courteous and attentive. Difficult to drive to the door as it is in a pedestrian area but only a few minute s walk from free parking on the ring road. An up to date sat nav is usefull.

Ubeda was a wonderful find and a relaxing break from heavier sightseeing in Sevilla, Cordoba, and Granada. Very different feel here as the town feels more like Renaissance Italy than Moorish Spain. The parador is really lovely and so full of character. Floor tiles with little castles, knights, coats of arms. We had two rooms since we are a family... More

The Place, the Parador itself and the City of Ubeda are really worth a visit! Rooms were clean and historically furnished, the Service was good but not too friendly. We were a little bit astonished about the breakfast, because they used so much olive oil for almost everything, but we learned that this is "normal" in this area of Spain.... More
