This hotel is almost impossible to find but well worth the effort. The sign by the old wooden door is only 3 x 3. Not that impressive outside it has a fantastic restored open courtyard in the centre of the hotel. The rooms are very modern and have great bathroom layouts. Staff didn't speak the best English, though better then... More

I have to admit that I was a little leery about booking this hotel, after reading some of the TA reviews. We were there for 3 nights and I should not have worried! It turned out to be a wonderful hotel for many reasons. First of all, the staff, particularly Cristina, were very helpful and kind. The building itself was... More

Excellent hotel just off the Main Street heading into the historic centre of town. Superior room was very spacious and looked over the square. Great bars and restaurants close by. Only negatives were the drains gave off a very strong smell during the night and the air conditioning unit was very noisy. Staff were very helpful.

The hotel is located in a beautiful old building. It is located on a small square in the historic city center. It is amazing spending a night in a few centuries old mansion. This is relatively small hotel so it is run more like a family business with relaxed but friendly people at the reception. Watch out because there is... More

The hotel is a renovated historic building in the centre of the historic town of Ubeda. Very good restoration; the building features a big central courtyard. We stayed in room 1.3 on the ground floor. It's a large room designed for wheelchair access. The toilet and shower are separately partitioned from the main room. Twin washbasins are in the room... We spent out wedding night in one of the ground floor rooms overlooking the square and couldn´t be more pleased. You don´t spend one of the most special nights in your life in a random place. No noise issues at all. Beautifully appointed, massive walk in shower, with a mix of old and new features including a well!Attention to detail... More

Stayed for two nights in this lovely hotel. What made it so special was the friendliness of the host who spoke English and was able to recommend local restaurants. He also sorted us out with somewhere to park. Parking in town is mostly free and a short walk from the hotel so not a problem. Approaching the hotel from the... More

Lovely hotel, high quality for a very good price. Completely renovated in 2011 with an excellent mix of old and new. Design elements, but done with respect for the old beauty of the place. Kind welcome by helpful Sandra. Comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. Quiet and peaceful place in the middle of the old town. Parking was no problem.

We spent one night in Ubeda in December 2012 as a stopover en route to Cordoba and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a good location in the centre of the old town, close to the cathedral and near bars and restaurants. The hotel is lovely, a restored 16th century building, with a pretty indoor courtyard where the... More

Ubeda and Baeza, two impressive Andalusian Renaissance towns, are off the beaten Granada-Cordoba-Sevilla tourist track, and it's a pity! Not only are theses towns beautiful in their own right, but they are also a gateway to the Sierra de Cazorla nature park, a true gem. And, if staying in Ubeda, you could do no better than stay at the Alvaro... More
