This hotel was recommended to us by a friend, and we have been extremely satisfied. We spent 3 nights, the minimum to really enjoy this magic place! We had a room with a beautiful view and a small terrasse.. And it was really wonderful. Walking distance from the center "square" and and main shopping street, the hotel is quite and... More

We stayed here in September for 7 nights. It is well situated and a mere stroll to the bus stop where you can go to Nerja a lively bustling town 10 minutes away for a Euro. A great base to enjoy this beautiful village. It is well worth upgrading to a superior room with a larger balcony to enjoy the... More

This hotel is much cheaper than many in the pricey tourist town of Frigiliana. It's large, a bit impersonal, but totally practical. The bed was ok, and the bathroom was fine, everything worked, and the balcony overlooking the valley was a nice extra. Breakfast was good - fresh and dried fruit, delicious ham, cereal etc. The staff speak English and... More

Very nice staff but ... The room was fine with views from the balcony towards the sea. The beds were firm and comfortable. However soggy towels were not changed and the (tiny) bar of soap wasn't replenished. One day the room was still unserviced when we returned in the late afternoon. The breakfast buffet was disappointing. Juice and coffee were... More

Had a great one night stay here in a superior room. Our room was large, decorated tastefully in the traditional Andalus style with large windows/doors on two sides leading out onto a good size terrace. What was great for me was the blackout curtains as I can't sleep with any chinks of light. Air con worked very well and the... More

We have just returned from an 8 day stay at Hotel Villa Frigiliana and found it to be a quiet, clean, well-managed hotel. The air-conditioning in the rooms is great and a necessity in August. TVs in the rooms show mainly Spanish channels but who needs tv with amazing views from the balcony? The pool was cool but clean and... More

As this is the only big hotel in Frigiliana, they always have a lot of guests. Their reviews have been good and on booking.com they scored 8.9/10. So we booked. And what a mistake it was..... Pros: * The location is good. Just below Frigiliana's old town. * Scenic views over Frigiliana old town and the country side from all... More

We arrived at this hotel with 2 small kids late at night and slightly traumatised after a family crisis, having booked in online only an hour previously. We were met by soothing scent of incense and the extremely friendly and helpful owners. They made us feel very welcome and were great with the kids. Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean... More
