I know others have no been impressed with Hotel Mijas, I can´t say I was impressed iether but I wasn´t very disatisified either. We never got up in time for the breakfast so can´t comment. We did however get up for lunch in the pool bar. One complaint I do have is the "rules" are not made clear. You can... more

Stunning location but poor service from check-in onwards! The A/C had broken throughout the hotel - no fans offered - the breakfast was very basic with congealed eggs, cold coffee, virtually no waiter service and very offhand - much like a downmarket cafeteria! Had booked for 2 nights and pleased to leave - food and service is not this hotels... more

On arrival at the picturesque four star TRH Hotel Mijas, the initial impression is of a slightly outdated, yet quite grand, calm and welcoming interior. The reception area leads to an open palm court surrounded by lounges and a bar with a large, although tired looking, external terrace. Adjacent to the bar is an impressive piano room. Marble floors and... more

Amazingviews down to coast. Weather was not great but when the sun came out it was worth it. Charming small village away from the bustle of the coastal tourist towns. more

My wife and I booked this holiday with no expectations as we appeared to have secured a very reasonable deal with the Travelsphere holiday company. When we reached the hotel we were met by our rep. Claire, who proved to be an excellent and very knowledgable young lady and stayed with us for the whole of our stay. Our room... more

We were really looking forward to staying at this hotel having stayed for a couple of nights last year and it didn't disappoint. We got an excellent deal on B & B and given the stunning views across the landscape down to the coast, the tranquility of the room, the quality of the room and the common areas, it's close... more

Arriving at the hotel it looked quite nice, the receptionist who spoke English was very kind and appreciated that we tried to speak Spanish. The hotel is clean but old, the average age of the guests was +60, we were 23 so we felt very young. The rooms had a terrace overlooking the magnificent landscape and the sea. The huge... more

We stayed for 8 nights bed and breakfast and enjoyed the hotel - we have stayed there on various other occasions and never had any complaints. The staff are very professional which means they carry out their duties as required but are very friendly if the guests are friendly to them. The staff in the dining room are also helpful,... more

Just returned from a short stay in Hotel Mijas - great rates, good rooms, stunning location. Thank goodness I had only booked B&B - the rest of our party had booked half board, but it is so handy to walk into the village & eat well and reasonably, in friendly local restaurants with a lot of atmosphere - UNLIKE the... more

It is worth paying extra for a superior room with fantastic views down to the coast. The hotel was very quiet March 8-12 and ours was one of few rooms occupied on the third floor. Well furnished, comfortable, with a small balcony and table and chairs. Public areas of the building are smart and well kept with a series of... more
