I stayed in the Picasso block of the complex, and my apartment had absolutely amazing views!! The staff are very friendly and welcoming and will help you with any directions for travelling around the area. The pools are very relaxing and normally quiet (and i went in August). The town surrounding is beautiful with many restaurants and shops to explore.... More

Positives: Location (in Mijas Pueblo) with accommodation balconies giving magnificent views over Fuengirola and the Mediterranean Sea. The indoor (heated) pool with Turkish Steam Room, Sauna, Aromatic Shower and Gym (without any water) were beautiful and a 'haven of peace and tranquility'. Staff too were all friendly - especially Alona (restaurant/bar). Negatives: Walking into our 2 bedroom apartment (in Dali... More

The resort is built on a cliff below the city of Mijas, famous white village; had the feeling of going to a monastery. We had an apartment in Picasso overlooking the pool, but the best was the view from our balcony, down the valley to the Med. It was the most spectacular view we've ever had in a resort! We... More

Really nice welcome, nothing seemed a problem and they were happy to accommodate our early arrival. Stayed 7 nights in Miro block, apartment had everything you can need and all good quality furnishing. Plenty of areas to capture the sun without feeling like everyone was on top of each other. Ideal location for those who want to avoid the hustle... More

Just returned from a wonderful 6 night break at La Ermita in Mijas Pueblo. We booked a 2-bedroom/bathroom apartment which on arrival didn't disappoint. We had 2 balconies - one off the main bedroom and the apartment was very well equipped. Having not gone self catering before, I was pleasantly surprised at the facilities and we were very comfortable. The... More

I am a bit "picky" when it comes to holiday accommodation and I really struggled to find any faults with La Ermita... Spotlessly clean - even under beds (and yes - found a sign under it saying "we clean here too"!). Stayed in a 2 bed apartment in Dali which is the older part. Some equipment/furniture a bit worn but... More

We have stayed in the apartments a number of times usually hiring a car from the airport but on this occasion we took public transport and it was very easy. A 30 minute train journey from the airport to Fuengirola ,€1.65, a 500m walk from the train to the bus station and jump on the M122 bus to Mijas (20-25... More

My wife, daughter and I stayed in La Ermita for three days in late November. Although the restaurant was closed for the winter the leisure facilities were open and the indoor pool is decent and heated. The apartments are extremely comfortable with two good sized bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom, both bathrooms with a jacuzzi bath, an okay kitchen... More

We stayed at La Ermita for 5 nights in September and couldn't be happier with our stay. The resort was spotless, the room was more than adequate, the pool complex was just about the right size and so quiet...just ideal to relax and take in the breathtaking views. The staff were also very helpful, recommending different nearby attractions for us... More
