We booked this appartment thru Travel Republic for £216 for the week. My husband and I had a great relaxing time at this hotel with roomy, clean well equiped appartments. We are however, not the average travellers we love walking, even though there is an excellent bus service, that ends at the hotel, so the bus is stationary there for... more

Great location and hotel just a shame that we went at the end of the season ans they seemed to be closing everything for the winter! We arrived on 15.09.09 and the buffet breakfast, lunch and dinners had ceased. The hotel shop had closed and sunbeds and cushions were disapperaring every day, by the time we left there were only... more

I would like to recommend this hotel and the resort of Mojacar highly We are a couple that travel 3-4 times per year and have to say that the one bedroom apartment (sleeps four) was spacious and clean and the large balcony (20 x 15ft) overlooked the sea, beautiful. Having read some of the mixed reports we were concerned, reports... more

I stayed a week in an apartment at the Hotel which was very nice and clean. The food in the dining room was good quality food at a reasonable price. The ertainment was very much geared towards young children the bingo was totally out of place and boring. I do not believe that any woman should go topless bathing any... more

I stayed in the Puerto Marina Hotel in Almeria for just one week with my family. My first impression of this hotel was that it was well attended to. It was always clean and most staff were willing to help. The pool facilities were brilliant - a good place to cool down in the middle of the day! We ate... more

Hotel itself was clean and tidy. That's the good news. Now for the rest. First the pool: Didn't open until 10am and closed at 7pm. Personally I'd like a swim before breakfast and 7 is very early to close - it's still lovely at that hour. The pool wasn't the cleanest either. Miguel the lifeguard was great with the kids... more

Stayed at the Puerto Marina 1st two weeks in July with husband and 2 kids aged 11 and 7. The apts were fine, very clean with very good air conditioning and a huge balcony. However the loud music around the pool area (Michael Jackson at full volume!) was so appalling that we couldn't read our books. When I asked the... more

Just returned from one weeks holiday here with family and friends.Lovely resort.Well run hotel except for the sour faces on one of the bar staff which we noticed from day one. Each night two people worked the bar with one waiting on tables leaving one to look after the bar itself resulting in queues forming even at 10 O clock at... more
