The hotel is very clean, near a train stop, a big mall, a big supermarket and, in case the supermarket is closed, there is a gas station, that is open 24/7, where you can buy basic things. Their personal is very nice, all of them speak English in the reception. The breakfest is ok, nothing special, but they serve the... More

Really enjoyed our stay at the Cliphotel. While it is outside of the centre of Porto, it is well connected by the metro and is right outside of the El Corte Ingles department store. The hotel itself is modern, very clean with strong wifi connection throughout (though it did not work in our room for one evening but quickly resolved... More

Very clean, modern and with a very good wifi connection. Located almost in front of a metro station, proved to be a great choice, with a price that can be considered a bargain for its quality. The breakfast was one of the best ever in a 3 star hotel, with multiple choices and fresh products. Would return.

Good things: Room 606 is big and very clean; Two king size single bed; Orthopedic mattress; Big closet; Bad things: Air conditioning don't work; Small 4x3 old TV on wall; The bathtub shield is too small, watering the ground outside when we take shower;

Very nice hotel with a very convenient location close to underground, tourist bus and commercial area. We had a very nice family time, traveling my three children, my wife and me. Porto is a very interesting city and we combine the tourist, historical and cultural attractions with appropriate activities for kids (12, 9 and 4 years). What a nice time!

The room was quite nice. The only things that could be improved, in my opinion, were the sound isolation with neighbouring rooms, and the fact that it did only have curtains and not a true window shutter (so some light entered after sunrise). Overall I think it was a nice place and recommend it.

Just two metro stations away from the Ponte D. Louis I. and next to El Corte Inglese this hotel is very well located and offers rooms for a reasonable price. The bathrooms could have a renovation. The hair dryer is a bit useless. You should better bring your own. Breakfast is included and offers a good variety. Just the instant... More

The hotel is conveniently located next to the metro and El Cortes shopping center, has a decent breakfast buffet with clean rooms and is situated in a relatively safe neighborhood. Having said that, the hotel requires a a major facelift - everything feels old and outdated.

We stayed 5 nights, first week in October out of 3 weeks in Portugal. Hotel is about 20 minutes walk south of Porto or 4 stops by Subway, which is just outside the hotel. Underground parking available at 7 Euros per day, access to highways very close and convenient. Our room on the 9th floor had a good view of... More
