I had a car and chose this hotel for a quiet location to visit the surroundings like Bussaco, Coimbra, Conimbriga, etc. I was impressed by the charming building, with personality. Although old, room was very clean, large and comfortable, except for the tiny shower box. Breakfast was ok. A couple of small restaurants are close by. more
The hotel is very impressive from the beginning: you see a towerning pink mansion on top of a hill as you approach the town centre from the motorway. What can I say.. Must be the best 50 Euros I have ever spent.. MASSIVE room with a an even bigger balcony..! Swimming pool was cold as ice but we didn’t care.. The best place to stay in Luso...Breakfast was excellent with big cups of coffee, ham cheese and rolls as the norm in Portugal.. We had a saints day... more
