We booked for a romantic weekend and the hotel offers all needed, nice art deco atmosphere, modern and clean room, very nice spa with jacuzzi and swimming pool. The only problems we had were that its far away from any big town, the pillows in the room were very uncomfortable, despite the modern and brand new looking furniture and the... More

This is a beautiful historic Palace. The staff is great. The rooms are clean. The food is delicious. However, the grounds nmeed some attention and they need some soft music in the lobby. It's like having a cocktail in the middle of a hay barn! I would highly recommend this hotel. More

Good things about this hotel: the spa is great, although the japonese bath was not avalilable. The historical building is beautiful. The green. Not so good things: the beds and pillows could be more confortable. The outdoor pool needs renovation as well as some parts of the hotel. The prices (at least for this month) are a bit high for... I stayed in this hotel for one night with my girlfriend in May 2011. We bought the romantic package, which included breakfast in the room, chocolate fondue and free use of the swimming pool and sauna. We used all this offers but for some of them we had to wait more than what it was supposed. The hotel is an... More

The Hotel Palace Curia is a renovated grand hotel from the 1920s. They have done a good job of preserving the historic architecture with high ceilings and lots of wood, except in the bedrooms where they have gone modern minimalist, which is a shame. Why pay extra to stay in a resorted historic hotel only to have a bedroom like... More

Booked 5 nights at the Palace and stayed for 7! We loved it there. The hotel has been closed for over 2 years and has had a total refurbishment. The rooms are above average size and have been updated with modern furniture, flat screen tv and comfortable beds. The bathrooms are excellent with quality towels and toiletries. On entering the... It was told by staff that the gigantic propotionate hotel was reopened in june 2008, after a 4 year shut down. All rooms have been refurbished and are of 4* quality. The authentic details and furniture from the 20'ies have been very well preserved and it gives a stay in this hotel a quite unique experience. You feel being on... More
