Esposende is a lovely place, I hate to recommend it as the best thing about it is the lack of tourists and english you see there!! Suave Mar is a lovely small hotel, with very friendly staff. We booked for a week, but stayed for a couple of extra nights as the hotel was so perfect. Staff were helpful, friendly and kind to the children. What a brilliant find this hotel turned out to be. It is a three star hotel, not in Braga but on the coast at Esposende, about half way between Porto and Viana de Castelo.
