My wife and I stayed with Mrs. Walker on 02/23/2011. Excellent hostess!!! She gave us here tickets to the Virginia Stage production of "The Last Five Years", which we really enjoyed. Excellent breakfast (Served on Fine China and Sterling Flatware). She spent quite a bit of time with us after breakfast. We really enjoyed her company, and will definately return!!!!!

We stayed at this bed and breakfast over a weekend for a wedding anniversary. They have only 2 rooms and the other room was empty while we were there so we had the whole place to ourselves which made it very cozy for just us. Richard, the host, provides exceptional service and a delicious breakfast which is served on very... More

The innkeeper (Emily) was the rudest person I've ever dealt with at any establishment. When we called over the phone to book a room, she became very annoyed when I asked her questions. (I.e. What time is check in/out) she told us we could have the "River Room" because that was the room that everyone seemed to like. When we... More

As other reviewers have put it, you get a healthy dose of Southern hospitality at this bed and breakfast, so if you're looking for a very cozy and personal B&B experience then go for it!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at this charming little B&B on the water while attending my daughter's wedding. Miss Emily was the perfect hostess in the grand southern style and catered to our every need and desire. We were surrounded by fine antiques in cosy rooms where we were invited to make ourselves at home. A 5-star breakfast... More

We have had a quiet, restful stay at your beautiful bed & breakfast. The hammock by the river was a pure delight. Definately a place that I look forward to returning to when we are in Norfolk.

If you wish a taste of "Old Norfolk" the Walker's Bed & Breakfast is the perfect place. A tranquil setting on the river, beautifully furnished, and a warmly welcoming host and hostess will add to your pleasure. We only stayed one night prior to a cruise to Bermuda but when we return another time to explore the Norfolk area we... More
