We've stayed at the Norfolk Freemason Inn many times, and have never been disappointed. Located in the historic Freemason district, near many sites and the light rail, our most genial hostess always welcomes us back with a smile. Rooms are spacious and sunny, several with Jacuzzi's. Her gourmet breakfasts are a real treat, ample enough for a full day's worth... More

Great location, you can walk to many attractions or take light rail! Nice French restaurant within footsteps. The Inn should pay more attention to the little details. Found some dust/dirt and plastic trash at front entrance (in between entrance doors) that stayed present the entire 2 days I stayed. This includes paper/dirt at outside front entrance, prior to entrance steps.... More

We had family visiting and suggested they stay at the Freemason Inn. From the moment they arrived, they couldn't stop talking about the lovely property and singing Lesley's (the manager) praises. Upon their arrival when Lesley trotted their suitcases up the stairs as though they weighed nothing, to the delicious breakfasts she prepared daily, they were very impressed. She also... More

I really liked this place. It felt like you walked into a different era when you started walking up the stone steps to the inn. I'm from Ohio, so I appreciated the very southern maritime atmosphere here. Lesley was a very easy person to talk to with a friendly and easy-going attitude. I stayed there because my Mom was in... Live in Hampton Roads and can't think of where to spend your next vacation? You needn't look far! My husband and I got married recently, and we could not afford to go away for a honeymoon. Instead, we spent two nights at the Freemason Inn, and we are so glad we did. In fact, we both agreed that in a... More

My husband and I spent our wedding anniversary here and had a wonderful time. Lesley was so warm and welcoming without being intrusive. Our room was romantic and beautiful and our breakfast was great. Would highly recommend.

Wow! What a fantastic weekend. This place was so beautiful and we truly felt like we stepped right into Victorian Norfolk! The innkeeper Lesley was so sweet and accommodating. She was always just a phone call away. We were blown away by a fabulous dinner, midnight en croute, and beautiful breakfast in bed set up. This was our first time... More

My friends and I stayed in Virginia Beach over spring break and had the amazing opportunity to spend our last vacation day at the Freemason Inn Bed & Breakfast. Lesley showed us incredible hospitality through preparing decadent meals and providing us with a comfortable and luxurious room to stay in. Lesley's hospitality comes so naturally, you feel as though you... More

Oh My! What a wonderful Inn and perfect get away spot! We loved walking all over Norfolk from this great location and Leslie helped us pick two excellent restaurants within walking distance for our two dinners. After her amazing breakfasts, you only need dinner - I promise! She is a gourmet chef and her combinations are amazing!! We ate one... More

We always stay here when my husband gets home from deployment. Leslie makes a wonderful 3 course (!!) breakfast each morning. My husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner there as well, and Leslie remembered 6 months later that I didn't like mushrooms. Love this place.
