Stayed here with some friends last month. This hotel SUCKS. Had expectations it would be a cool, hip old hotel converted into a newer trendy experience. Wrong at every turn:dirty lobby and dirty floors, rooms so tiny hard to move around, shower water pressure didn't work, bed linens had holes in them (!) and the decor was non-existent. I have stayed in some horrible hotels in my day, but THIS ONE is the worst. The location was great, the lobby was great....the room was unbelievably HORRIBLE. We found a syringe in the corner of the bathroom. The staff was quick to apologize -we moved to a new room and did not pay for our one night stay. I was disgusted, and it takes a lot to make me complain. Definitely not somewhere to go if you aren't a junkie. more

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with the old charm of this historical hotel built around the turn of the last century. The reception staff was extremely polite and helpful.
