As usual I was very satisfied with my stay at the Navy Lodge in Norfolk. You can't complain about the cost because it compares like the price of a very cheap hotel room but at the Navy Lodge you get so much more. This was my first time I became aware that there were rooms that included pets. The only... More

My husband and I went to Norfolk to see our son, we had made these plans long in advance airline tickets and all. A couple of days prior to flying out, he got word that his ship was going to be going out for sea maneuvers for a week and leaving the day before we were to arrive. We chose... More

We walked in and they told us in ten minutes that I filled reservations would be cancelled and we would be placed. Ten minutes later, they tell us it will be thirty to forty five minutes until they place anyone. An hour later, were still sitting here waiting to be placed in a room. We drove three hours straight here... More

Perfectly acceptable unless you're seeking basic Internet or TV services from this century. The extremely loud air conditioning unit was also a pleasant surprise. On the good side the continental breakfast had decent croissants.

I've twice stayed at the Navy Lodge on visits to Norfolk. For Military families, it offers inexpensive and cozy lodging. The Navy really did this right, and has improved the service over my previous visit. They added a very simple continental breakfast (as none was available my previous visit). The rooms all have conveniences like microwaves and fridges, and there... More

We are staying for 5 nights and you cannot beat the value. The room is lovely with a full sized, lighted closet and expansive sink/dressing area. We met or housekeeper, Babette the first morning. She is a very friendly happy person who added a sweet touch to our stay which was delightful.

The Navy Lodge was clean and quiet even though very busy. The staff was friendly. Make sure you have a military sponsor. This I didn't realize when making reservations, but at least I was going to see a military member who signed us in!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel building is old but very well kept and the staff is very courteous and friendly. The breakfast could use some improvement but overall my stay was enjoyable. Had a small problem with the TV, it was fixed quickly and courteously.

Thought was decent because was near base but found staff snooping in my room while I was asleep and had the do not disturb sign on door!! Policy says if you have sign up they will check on guest via call or otherwise every 24 hours. Made sure to say hello daily in lobby but never received any welfare calls... More
