Housekeepers were nice, offered to get me anything when I declined room service. Some of the clerks are nice, some are distant at best. Exterior walkway and elevator dirty. Room smelled along with the drapes and the bedspread. Bathroom floor needed stripping. Housekeeping staff terrible; tub not cleaned. Air did not work well. I recently stayed for two days on a family trip to Norfolk. I knew this was an inexpensive hotel and I was expecting problems... but I actually ended up being pleasantly surprised. This hotel stay was a continual negative experience! The rooms were dirty and smelled of mildew. The housekeeping staff was extremely rude and used inappropriate speech around hotel customers. Stayed here to attend a Christmas dinner in the area. The price was right (49.00), but we got what we paid for. This seems to be the party hotel for either college kids or young military.
