Having done the sights of Aveiro, we decided to stay by the sea in the hope of catching some surf. We were surprised at how vibrant out of season Costa Nova was and the Hotel Azevedo was well located to enjoy the beach, bustling fish market and very good Restaurant Dori. The reception at the hotel was friendly, the room... More

Costa Nova is a ghost beach town at the end of May. Every other building has it's windows broken and stray dogs are around. A handful of restaurants, not a lot of competition. The hotel is not by the water. Decent quality inside but situated on a rundown road. Wifi only works if you sit by the door of your... More

We really enjoyed our stay in this small hotel. The rooms were fine and the personnel was really kind. Definetely very good value for money. We would recommend anybody willing to stay in Costa Nova to stay there for the night.

The look of the rooms and bathroom is pretty old style, the bathroom was without window and the room furnitures from 90's. The hotel in the overall was good in a good position. The breakfast was good and the staff very helpful and gentle. We were unfortunate because our room was in the backside of the hotel and so we... More

Very friendly staff at this hotel! We stayed in room 108 which was spacious with a balcony and free wifi. The rooms were made every day and the bathroom was nice and clean. The location is perfect for the beach or the river where there is a great suf school called Riactiva! There is a local bus that runs to... More

Stayed here just in September 07, for one night. It was very clean and nicely decorated. There is a fantastic seafood restaurant very close by, but I can't remember the name of it!
