We spend 9 wonderful days (2009.10.06-2009.10.15) in Marostica, Italy in Due Mori hotel and it was feeling that we where not in hotel, but like at home.Very friendly owners Monica and Riadh not only introduced what we can see in and around Marostica, but also invited to the dinner and spend a lot of time with us. The hotel is... more

Not quite as snazzy as the website photos, but could not have a better location which is very near the main piazza. On the downside, our windows were on a busy street, very noisy, lasting late into the night. Our room had a view of the castle which we had asked for, but we wish they had told us about... more

I agree completely with Begley85 below, not wholly surprising since we were travelling with them. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff of this excellent hotel more

Charming hotel within the walls of Marostica a jewel of a town north of Padua. Airy rooms, private no charge parking, good breakfast and central location in the northern part of the Veneto. Best of all the most friendly and helpful personnel you will find anywhere. Heartily recommended. more

This hotel is an absolute gem, and is ideal for exploring the Palladio villas in the area. Large airy, but simple rooms with great bathrooms, beds extremely comfortable. Very helpful staff, I wandered down to the breakfast area at 7.30am and asked for some tea to bring up to the bedroom and two great pots of tea were instantly produced.... more

The hotel is centrally located in the small historic town of Marostica which nestles on the northern edge of the Veneto plain and at the base of the foothills which eventually become the Dolomites. The hotel is in the old walled part of the town and is very quiet at night. We stayed there as preparations were being made for... more

We found this hotel in an issue of the Sunday Times in July, just as we were planning our holiday in Italy for the autumn. It was reported as one of the best 20 hotels in Europe for good value for money, and what a discovery! We wanted to visit Verona, Venice and other cities in the Veneto. Without this... more

This was a magic place to stay. A really beautiful little hotel, wonderfully placed to get the bus to Vicenza and Bassano del Grappa. Monica and Riadh, the owners, were fantastically helpful. Their knowledge of the Palladian architecture and general assistance was great. The rooms are immaculate and modern. more
