We arrived at Il Sarale after a few days in Rome and found it to be the quiet, charming respite we were hoping for. Our rooms were spacious, sunny and clean. Dear traveler, we went in Sarale for one day, but we go out the day after. The house doesn't have any services. After we went in Hotel Garden and we had all the services requested. Umbria is wonderful but keep away from il Sarale. Susan more

We are so sorry if Susan misanderstood the meaning of staying in an Agriturismo. It’s not an “all inclusive” hotel, of course! Il Sarale is a farmhouse where to enjoy a real country-style way of life in 6 simple and cosie rooms all ensuite. We really take care of our guests NOT with tv and minibar in every room, BUT...

This is a truly stunning location far removed from urban life, Sarah and Alessandro run this lovely small orgainc farm as well as having 2 small children. Rooms are rustic but everything you need. A huge bonus is no mosquitos in this area. There is no pool but there is use of the pool at the adjoining property and normally... more

We stayed for four nights in July. Hospitality was wonderful in this small homely family-run agriturismo situated at the top of a hill in the Umbrian countryside. Food was excellent, the only problem was the quantity (but we managed to walk it off in the day)! Now that we have returned back to the UK we look back on this... more
