Stayed here for seven nights - in a beautiful location with stunning views. Italian home cooking at its best, reasonably priced. The evening meals on the terrace were brilliant. The two rooms we had were spacious, very clean with the rooms being furnished authentically in keeping with the farmhouse. The welcome of Sara, Alessandro (and the other Sara serving at... More

We had the best holiday ever staying 10 days in "Il Porcialaia", a converted cottage next to the main B&B. Good points: Perfect setting and magic atmosphere (private, peaceful, quiet, picture perfect views across the hills in all directions, including uninterrupted sun- and moonrise and sunset); wonderful hosts (thank you Sara and Alessandro!!); perfect for couples, family or groups of... ....for the views, the food, the accommodation and setting and the wonderful hosts, Sara and Alessandro. It is hard to put into words how special this couple made the holiday atmosphere, but whatever magic ingredient it is that they have, it works to provide a beautiful, relaxing holiday. Myself, my husband and two children, 5 and 6 came to Il... More

Came here for a week with my daughter to join my sister and her boys who were there already for 2 weeks. Organising it all via email and text with Sara was very little trouble, we were delighted with our room in the main building which I would describe as 'shabby chic' decor. The bed and pillows were very comfortable,... More

Enjoyed a wonderful stay here in the converted farmhouse, now 2 bedroom cabin plus loft. The cooking, the views, the location are all superb. The fact that our dog was welcome, the kids could also help out around the little farm, could swim safely in the plunge pool by themselves, and the gorgeous sunrise/sunset from each side of the house... I have stayed in this delightful working farm many times and I continue to return! The rooms are simple but charming and clean! What is it that sells this place to me? It is the atmosphere, the warmth of the hosts, the views of the rolling hills and in the evenings it is stilling out on the terrace looking out... More

We are a family of 4 and have just returned home from Il Sarale after 4 days of fantastic food, beautiful Umbrian countryside and very comfortable rooms. Il Sarale is a very relaxing place to stay in excellent walking countryside, and close to all those special towns. (We got to Arezzo and Perugia with ease.) We got lots of advice... More

We stayed here in September 2010 in a double room. The room was simple but really clean and as advertised. For dinner we were served an authentic Italian three course meal. Unfortunately we were only there for one night but it is a great place to go have a walk around the countryside is beautiful. Definitely recommend. Great room, food and... More

We arrived at Il Sarale after a few days in Rome and found it to be the quiet, charming respite we were hoping for. Our rooms were spacious, sunny and clean. Since the house sits atop a ridge, the views from the rooms look out across a beautiful and layered Umbrian countryside. But as nice as the physical setting was,... More

Dear traveler, we went in Sarale for one day, but we go out the day after. The house doesn't have any services. After we went in Hotel Garden and we had all the services requested. Umbria is wonderful but keep away from il Sarale. Susan

We are so sorry if Susan misanderstood the meaning of staying in an Agriturismo. It’s not an “all inclusive” hotel, of course! Il Sarale is a farmhouse where to enjoy a real country-style way of life in 6 simple and cosie rooms all ensuite. We really take care of our guests NOT with tv and minibar in every room, BUT... More
